Character and Environment Design for an Online Children’s Science Magazine
The mission was to develop a concept and a cast of characters for a science online magazine. Each character would represent a diferent section of the magazine, acting as a guide for the content involving that category.
First Concept: Cientopolis
A futuristic city inhabited by robots, humans, and anthropomorphized animals.
Illustration style: vector flat / rubberhose arms
Second Concept: No name
A present-day city inhabited by anthropomorphic animals. Each character represents a profession or an iconic urban role, with one assigned to each section of the magazine.
Second Concept: No name
A spaceship and its crew, where each character plays a distinct role. From pilots and engineers to scientists and navigators, every crew member represents a different section of the magazine.
